Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Case Logic KSW320 Koskin CD/DVD Wallet 336 Disc Capacity (Black)

Customer Review: It's exactly what I needed it to be.
Summary: 5 Stars

I needed an extra large case to store all of my CD's in a more compact way. I had them all stashed away in cardboard boxes in a closet. Not very practical. Now with this case I was able to keep all the inserts and store them in a much smaller space. The pages full with my CD's and the inserts and the extra storage in the front cover holds a bunch of loose disks. I picked up one to give it a try and ended up getting a second one to store all of my CD's. Unlike some of the other reviewers I do not need these cases for constant use, I only need a compact means to store my CD's long term. With the case open the zipper takes a little effort to get started being that it gets tucked around a corner that you have to get around. Once it's past that first turn the zipper feels strong and closes up nicely. I very much so like the way that the handle on the spine pushes down to lay flat and that the case seems to be made of a material that will be easy to clean. All in all the couple of little things that could be better are very easy for me to live with. If you looking to pack away those bulky CD's in one or two cases this is a very good solution.

Customer Review: Great for freeing up space!
Summary: 4 Stars

I finally got rid of all my jewel cases and decided I needed room, living in a tiny little apartment. I had over 200 CDs and you can understand that I was choosy about where I put them! After months of browsing around and reading reviews, I chose this one and I'm glad I did!

It holds CDs and CD covers and there's plenty of room for them all without any of them getting crushed! I kind of wish that the spirals were metal like a binder so that I could organize the sheets as I got more CDs. The plastic rings open in the front and are a bit of a hassle to lock and unlock but it's still handy. The fabric is soft so it won't scratch up my CDs and the case it's self is very stylish. A leathery cover that looks classy and a good zipper.

I'm a bit worried about the handle as it's not really attached to the case. It's just slipped between two straps with wide ends to keep it from slipping out. I think that if it was completely fully the handle might slip off but so far so good!

Customer Review: Item is slightly different than picture
Summary: 5 Stars

I just received this case in the mail today. This is the second one I have bought off of amazon (this exact item), but this one was not exactly the case described and pictured above. It had a cardboard sleeve/carton wrapped around it that also described and pictured this item as it appears above. The cardboard wrapper didn't match the item in it.
I like the new design better though. It looks nicer, the Koskin material is slightly brown, but just barely (it looks black until you inspect it closely). The Handle is more secure, actually attached inside the material.

THE ONLY BAD DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE 16 SLOTS IN THE FRONT OF THE CASE AREN'T REMOVABLE, LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. I own the other case (the one described and picture above), and the removable 16 CD folder is pretty handy.

Otherwise, I'm happy with the changes and will not return it. In fact, I'm ordering another one!! BUT, AMAZON SHOULD CHANGE THEIR DESCRIPTION.

Customer Review: Alphabetizing Solution
Summary: 5 Stars

I have hundreds of CDs in several albums. As things were added randomly, most of the CDs are out of order, and finding anything is a severe pain. This album solves that, and I'm about to replace all my existing albums with it. Each page can be removed and rearranged, so CDs can be added to appropriate pages and then the pages can be added to albums in appropriate order.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the handle - it's been ok for me so far, and hopefully will be better than the handle on the album I just threw away (which was more rigidly attached and which ripped off after a few months).

Like all cases of the sort, standard CD liner notes fit, but larger notes and the backs of the CD liner have to be folded or rotated and hang out of the pocket. However, the quick-access thingy at the front is removable, and larger items can be stuck behind it, treating it as a pocket.

Customer Review: Ready to buy another one
Summary: 5 Stars

While I appreciate the reviews of those who own the earlier model of this product, I actually rather like the brown stitching (reminiscent of old leather photo albums) and am also happy that there is not a plastic label holder on the handle as I do not plan on labeling this item (and if I did in the future, I would just print a nice, professional-looking label on my computer). I also have no use for a removable insert.

While it is possible to stuff a CD and its accompanying booklet into one pocket, it was a tight fit so I chose to store them separately hence, I need to buy another case. I bought my current case from a big box store and it cost over $50. I very much appreciate that I can get another one on Amazon for just a little more than half that price. It is definitely the nicest looking case with this much capacity that I could find.
