Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Case Logic KSW320 Koskin CD/DVD Wallet 336 Disc Capacity (Black)Customer Review: 2nd best on the market, don't pay more than $30 for it Summary: 4 Stars
This is the second best CD binder on the market. Atlantic makes a similar but superior product: Atlantic Metro 63204510 352 Disc Binder, which is also available on Amazon for the same price range.
The Atlantic Metro CD binder also uses koskin material and a very similar (but improved) removable fast file system. The design and quality of the Atlantic Metro CD binder are superior to Case Logic.
Prices for both Case Logic KSW320 and Atlantic Metro 352 Disc Binder fluctuate quite a bit on Amazon. Their prices can be anything between $28 and $50. You should not pay more than $30 for this one, especially because Atlantic offers a superior product for the same price range.
Customer Review: Just What I Needed Summary: 4 Stars
I was a little skeptical about buying this online as I'd found similar items at Target and wan't thrilled with the features. My desire for the high capacity overcame my reluctance to purchase sight unseen. I used two pockets per CD - one for the liner notes, one for the disk. It worked out perfectly and has saved a ton of space. I ordered two and need one more, I'll definately buy the third from Amazon soon. One caveat - the zipper is a little hard to begin unzipping. It's kinda buried in the binding edge when closed and doesn't have firm support to pull against to open. Minor detail as these are more for storage than use since we have our music ripped to itunes. Cheers
Customer Review: POOR QUALITY Summary: 2 Stars
C/L used to make sturdy with the zipper flaps made of koskin.
No more! The sides are made of flimsy cheap thin Nylon and the zipper does not close the case compleatley on the top.
I would estimate about an open 1/2 inch of space remains left open on the top when tring to zip the case completely.
You might as well but a wallet that is all nylon, at least some other brands like Fellows have thick nylon sides.
This is cheapo stuff....
The price is low so is the quality - I dont like the fact that air/moisture/dirt/dust can get in the case more easily due to it not sealing up compleatly at the top of the case when zippered!!
Customer Review: Nice Price, Nice Capacity....Poor Design Summary: 3 Stars
This case did what I needed it to do (which is hold 100+ Wii games plus instuction booklets in an organized fashion.) The only issue is that it is impossible to close the zipper. I could easily see the zipper breaking after a short time if used regularly. Fortunately, I do not need to close the case (since I do not travel w/ it.) As a strictly storage solution it is great... but I would not use it for toting CDs/DVDs around due to the poor zipper design.
That being said, I am happy with this case because it does everything I need it to do at a reasonable price.
Hope that helps you make an educated decision on this purchase.
Customer Review: Why all the fuss? Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, I almost didn't get this because of all the bad reviews, but I'm glad I did. Maybe it's not the same as the old version and maybe it's not as good, I don't know because I've never owned the old version, but this one is great. It feels sturdy, looks nice, and does its job.
One complaint I saw over and over was that it had brown stitching as opposed to black. Personally, I love the brown stitching. It seems to give it a more retro appearance.
Don't worry about the negative reviews. They are all from people who owned the first version. If this is the first time you're buying this one, you won't regret it.
