Case Logic has always been "the" stylish case people looked toward for safe storage of once pricey CDs, but now they have adapted several different types of cases to meet the specifications and needs of an assortment of products. For example I own a Case Logic laptop sleeve, a product I'm quite pleased with. This attractive case will fit most compact camcorders and small digital cameras for that matter. When you spend your hard earned money on an expensive camera, you definitely shouldn't shy away from spending a few extra dollars on protective gear.
External Dimensions:

The exterior is made of a tough, molded outer shell of 100% polyurethane.

4.4 x 1.9 x 2.8" (11.176 x 4.826 x 7.112)
The interior is made of 100% polypropylene non woven.
As with everything we buy there are things we like about the product and things we don't. Depending on what your needs are and the circumstances you will be using this case under, things I might not care for you may like. Here is a list of things to consider:
PROS
* This does fit most DVD, HD, miniDVD and flash camcorders. This is a very short list of cameras that will fit.

* The hardshell design will protect your camera from scratches or damage if it is accidentally dropped.
* The MSEC4 is very portable. It has an optional detachable shoulder/neck strap should you need to be hands free.
* A tilt-out, padded interior pocket for fast accessibility to your camcorder. This handy pocket pulls the camcorder forward so you don't have to dig or struggle to get your camera out.
* It has a retractable handle that lies fairly flat when not it use. You can also choose to use the shoulder/neck strap.
* Excellent 25 year warranty.
CONS
* The swivels and their attachment points to the case of made of a lightweight plastic that could easily break if you bump up against a hard surface.
* There is no room for extras such as batteries, a battery charger, or disks. If you travel, you may need to use a larger case.
* The case is not water resistant. I tested it and the outer nylon edges do absorb water readily. Simply cover it is plastic if there is a deluge outside.
In all, this case is sleek, attractive and an affordable way to protect your camcorder. Case Logic has once again stepped up to the plate and designed a product that can be used for many different pieces of equipment. If you want quality, you simply have to pay for it, but from my experience, Case Logic always gives a top quality, classic product that will last for years without going out of style.
