Customer Review: Bought for Canon A3000 IS

I bought this case for my new Canon Powershot A3000 IS, which is a fairly small camera, but bigger than the current Canon SD models. It provides a very snug fit for the A3000, but not too snug. The zipper still zips quite easily with this camera inside. There is no room for an extra battery or a USB cable, but I could tuck an extra memory card in next to the lens (not that I'll ever need to). I just needed a small case to keep out dust and protect from scratches, without being bulky in my purse or backpack. This case meets those needs exactly. Nothing more, nothing less. I would not trust this case to protect against damage from a fall, but it's just fine for my needs. The brown herringbone looks nice & sophisticated, too! The carrying strap it comes with seems to hold the weight just fine with a metal ring and clasp; however, the material of the strap itself is very smooth and satin-like on one side. Kind of slippery against skin! So be aware of that if you intend to use the strap.
