Every now and then I need to go on an overnight trip and I wanted something that could easily be toted around and fit in overhead storage. I do carry around portable devices, depending on the occasion, so I also needed something that would accommodate that.
This has worked out perfectly. The wheels roll easily and it makes any weight of load easy to carry around, especially at Las Vegas Airport. The storage area for either my laptop, netbook, or iPad is MORE than ample for all of them combined. Actually, that might be my only problem with this. They dedicate a lot of space for your devices and I would not have minded if they gave a little bit more space for clothes. But there is enough room for a change of clothes so it is perfect for a one-nighter.
I do like that this is well built, as the last thing I want to deal with while traveling is broken luggage. The handle feels sturdy. The wheels roll smoothly. The zippers have held together nicely and I like the fact that the handle can be hidden if you don't need them at the time. I was concerned when I first felt the belt that holds the clothing down as I thought it wouldn't handle the strain of something under it for long. But, so far, it has never unfastened unless I wanted it to.
For the business traveller who goes out and back on a regular basis, this is perfect. If you need to hang out for more days, you may want something bigger... or something in addition to this.
